To help limit the spread of the Coronavirus, Bishop Warfel has issued new directives (on 7/16) regarding the wearing of face coverings or masks for all parishes, ministries, and organizations of the Diocese
All parishioners attending Mass are to wear facial masks and are only to remove them when receiving Holy Communion. Exceptions to this rule are: children under the age of two should not wear a face mask; those providing communication to the hearing impaired, those serving as readers and cantors or other speaking roles at Mass, and priests who preside at sacramental services, especially the Mass. Those distributing Holy Communion should wear masks. These exceptions indicate that the requirement for six feet of separation remains in force.

A general dispensation for all the faithful from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days continues during this time. If your health is compromised or if you are a part of the vulnerable population, consider staying home. Daily Mass from the Chapel of EWTN Studios is available, as well as local parish live streaming.
